ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) AND LABOUR TURNOVER IN INNOSON VEHICLE MANUFACTURING COMPANY LIMITED, NIGERIA

This research explored Artificial Intelligence (AI) influences and employee turnover in Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company (IVM) limited, Nigeria. The study set objectives, formulated hypotheses, and reviewed existing literature. The research population included 42 managers and staff members from IVM, which also served as the sample size. Questionnaire was used as method of data collection, and as a primary data source, it was strengthened through content validity carried out and Cronbach alpha reliability estimated. Data were analysed using correlation technique. The study's empirical findings demonstrated a significant and strong relationship between AI applications, specifically the use of robotics and machine learning, and the labour turnover at IVM. Consequently, it was suggested that IVM should implement AI technologies, such as robotics, to gain a competitive edge and reduce employee turnover. Additionally, the management should utilize machine learning to enhance speed and accuracy within the organization.
