The Role of Cashless Policy as a Tool for Achieving Organisational Objective

The study examined how cashless policy has influenced customer satisfaction and how achieve these objectives. Questionnaires were distributed to two hundred and fifty customers of the stratified random sampling. The data were analysed using correlation coefficient and multiple regression correlation estimate and regression beta of r=0.638 and β=0.605respectively.The study also revealed a strong positive impact of cashless policy on the mitigation of the problems of the Nigerian banking sector. The study therefore concluded that cashless policy assists organisations in achieving customer satisfaction and it is a veritable means of abating the problems that plague the banking sector. In light of these, the study recommended that customer complaint on cashless means of transactions should be adequately looked into so as to overcome the cognitive dissonances faced by customers in the usage of cashless means of transactions.
