EFFECT OF CASHLESS POLICY ON SMALL SCALE BUSINESS IN GULBIN-BOKA, NIGER STATE, NIGERIA.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of cashless policy on small scale businesses in Gulbin-Boka Niger State, Nigeria. The main objective of the study is to determine the effect of cashless policy on small scale business in Gulbin-Boka area. However, the instigation culminating in a total population of 1,500, with the number of respondents as 1,500. The obtained sample size is 316 people, selected as the target group sample because they were in the right place to understand the problem under study, using random sample interviews and 316 questionnaire were recovered well. However, the type of data collected is primary data and the collection method used in this study is survey. However, the study recommends that, studies should include stakeholders, relationship between Small scale business and Financial service providers, contribution of SMEs to National economy. Similarly, mixed approach should be utilized to give holistic view on the effect of SMEs on socio- economic development of Host communities.
