Persistent operational inefficiencies and declining customer satisfaction among manufacturing firms in the FCT Abuja, often linked to weak coordination within supply chains, informed this study, which examined the effect of supply chain management practices on the performance of manufacturing companies in the FCT Abuja. The study adopted a descriptive survey research design, with a population of 430 employees drawn from Subtotal (Afrifab Steel) and G.U. Ebeco Industries, from which a sample size of 207 was determined using Yamane’s formula and selected through stratified sampling. Primary data were collected using a structured questionnaire, while data analysis was conducted using regression analysis with the aid of SPSS version 27. The findings revealed that strategic supplier partnership had a significant positive effect on operational performance, while customer relationship management significantly influenced customer satisfaction. The study concluded that effective supply chain management practices were critical drivers of both operational efficiency and customer-oriented performance among manufacturing firms in Abuja. Based on these findings, the study recommended that firms should strengthen long-term supplier partnerships through collaboration and information sharing, and enhance customer relationship management practices by improving responsiveness and feedback systems.
