Abstract

This study examined conflicts and organizational performance in North-Eastern University Gombe, Gombe State. The study adopted a descriptive research design in which Stratified Sampling were used to obtain data from the respondents with the questionnaire administered to the employees of North-Eastern University Gombe, with a population of 82. The respondents were selected using a simple random sampling method while the entire population was used as sample size. The data were analyzed using inferential statistics and regression analysis at a 5% level of significance to test the formulated hypotheses in line with the objectives of the study. The findings revealed that interpersonal conflicts have a significant influence on productivity at North-Eastern University Gombe, Gombe State. The research concludes that interpersonal conflicts have a significant influence on productivity at North-Eastern University Gombe, Gombe State. The study recommended that Management of North-Eastern University Gombe should regularly monitor the effectiveness of conflict resolution strategies and make adjustments as necessary. Conduct periodic surveys and assessments to gauge the impact of these initiatives on productivity and the overall work environment.
